The MSC-202A-V3 high performance RS232 serial I/O adapter provides 2 high performance 16C1050 UART compatible serial ports. The card is fully PCI Express Plug-and-Play compatible and there are no IRQ and I/O address conflict problems. The card expands 2 serial ports by only consuming one single PCIe slot. By supplying 5V and 12V DC power over its external DB9M connectors, the serial devices can be directly powered by the DB9M connectors. It simplifies the configuration as well as saves on cost. The high performance serial interface was adapted by the complete software drivers to work in most of the major operating systems. Moreover, the MSC-202A-V3’s UART provides FIFO size up to 256-byte, and software and hardware flow control feature. It’s much better than the 16C550 that is available in the current market.
